For the second time this week 1114(Gosforth) Squadron attended 11 (AEF) Squadron at RAF Leeming.
Not only did Cadets Adam Ramsay and Vicki Laxton fly in the Grob Tutor for the first time, but also Cpl Luke Ramsay was presented with his bronze wings by the OC of 11 (AEF) Squadron.
1114 (Gosforth) Squadron aims to provide young people from the local area with a wide range of opportunities and experiences such as flying, gliding, adventure training, and target shooting which lead them towards gaining life long skills and recognised awards such as BTEC qualifications and the Duke of Edinburgh Award.
